Tournament Overview
The Impact Flag Football tournament is part of the Ameland Beach Rugby Festival, where teams from across Europe gather for a unique beach sports experience. Matches take place on sand fields during the day, emphasizing speed, teamwork, and athletic performance. In the evening, the festival grounds transform into a lively beach festival with music, DJs, and social events.
To maintain a high-quality experience during the inaugural edition, only two fields will be
available, meaning the number of participating teams is limited.
Getting to Ameland
The island can only be reached by ferry. Ferry tickets can be booked via the website of

Once on the island, Ameland is small and easy to navigate by bike. Bicycles can be rented at
various rental shops across the island at very reasonable prices.
Food & Dining
Food trucks will be available on the festival grounds throughout the event. In addition, Ameland offers a wide variety of restaurants. Some restaurants offer special menus during the festival weekend.
It is strongly recommended to reserve a table in advance, as restaurants can become very busy during the festival.
