Camping rules

Our campsite is a place where thousands of visitors come together to enjoy rugby, the beach, and a friendly atmosphere. To keep it safe and enjoyable for everyone, the following rules apply.
By entering the campsite, you agree to these rules.

DON’Ts – These are not allowed on the campsite

Unauthorized entry
The campsite is open from Friday 10:00 AM to Monday 10:00 AM.
Access is only allowed with an Ameland Beach Rugby Festival Camping wristband.

Causing disturbance
Respect the peace and quiet of other campers, especially between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Drugs & Prohibited Substances
A zero-tolerance drug policy applies on the campsite.
Drugs, nitrous oxide, and similar substances are strictly prohibited.
Violations will result in immediate removal from the site.

Non-permitted items
Any form of accommodation other than (dome) tents is prohibited.
Examples include:

  • Inflatable boats

  • Bean bags

  • Large props

Party tents are allowed up to a maximum of 9 m² (e.g., 3×3 meters).

Alcohol & Glass

  • No draft installations

  • No beer kegs

  • No glassware on the campsite

Pollution or misuse of facilities

  • Keep the campsite clean

  • Use the trash containers

  • Treat showers, toilets, and water points with care

Generators & electricity abuse
Limited electricity is available.
Generators are not allowed.

Failure to follow instructions
Security is present 24/7 and authorized to remove you from the site.
Always follow their instructions.

Ignoring liability
The organization is not liable for damage, loss, or injury.

Unforeseen situations
In situations not covered by these rules, the decision of the security and/or organization is final.

Prohibited fire & gas installations

  • Gas burners and large gas installations are forbidden

  • Only gas canisters up to 250 grams are allowed
    (preferably with screw-thread or valve connection)

  • BBQs are only allowed in designated areas

Open fire
Open fires are strictly forbidden:

  • Campfires

  • Torches

  • Candles

  • Charcoal barbecues

  • Stoves

Excessive noise
Sound systems and megaphones that produce too much noise are not allowed.
After 10:30 PM, music should be at normal conversation level.

Trading & commercial activities
It is forbidden to trade on the campsite:

  • Food

  • Drinks

  • Drugs

  • Tickets

  • Or other products

Parking at your own risk
Please note: parking is always at your own risk.

  • Enjoy your stay

  • Make friends

  • Respect other campers

  • Get enough sleep to stay fit

  • Brush your teeth

  • Wash your hands

  • Shower regularly

  • Use a little puutje 😉 (you know what we mean)

  • Think green: keep the campsite tidy and clean
