Just a few days left until the Ameland Beach Rugby Festival 2026! The beach of Ameland is ready for another weekend packed with beach rugby, music, and festival vibes.
In this final newsletter, you will find the tournament schedule, information on how to register your team on the island, and details regarding participation at your own risk.
We are guests on Ameland
With over 130 teams, we are guests on Ameland for the weekend. Please enjoy the festival, but respect the local residents, business owners, and the island itself.
Prevent public disturbance, property damage, and inappropriate behavior. Our security team will also be present during the ferry crossings. In case of serious violations, a zero-tolerance policy applies, which may result in disqualification from the tournament.

Match Schedule
The match schedule for the Ameland Beach Rugby Festival 2026 is now online.
Please note: The schedule is subject to change throughout the weekend and will only be finalized on Friday. Therefore, check the schedule regularly and avoid taking screenshots or making printouts.
Are you unable to play on Sunday after all? Please report this to the tournament management no later than Saturday before 5:00 PM via WhatsApp at +31 6 35 63 49 96 or directly at the tournament management desk on the beach. Cancellations should only be made in the event of serious player shortages.
The weather forecast is still uncertain! We strongly advise you to bring warm and windproof clothing!
Registration at the Festival Reception
From Friday afternoon at 12:00 PM, you can head to the festival reception inside the DJ party tent to register your team for the Ameland Beach Rugby Festival 2026.
Upon registration, you will receive, among other things:

There are 15 online entrance tickets available per team. We highly recommend having these scanned immediately upon registration at the festival reception. You will receive your festival wristbands right away, meaning you won’t have to line up at the entrance of the party tent later in the evening.
Captains' Meeting
Friday at 8:30 PM The captain and team manager are warmly invited to officially kick off the festival weekend with us during the captains’ meeting in the DJ party tent.
